Happy birthday to me!
If you follow me on Twitter, you’ve probably seen me lamenting about turning 30. Well, today’s the big day. It doesn’t feel as momentous as I expected– no fireworks went off at midnight, no statues were erected in my honor (haha). For the most part, I feel exactly like I did at 29, or 21 for that matter. Whew! Thanks to all of my bookish friends who have reminded me that it’s just a number– you were right. I just prefer the number 29 ;) Hehe
Once again, I’ve been reminded of how fortunate I am to be a part of this incredible community. Anytime I’m feeling upset or insecure about something, whether it’s related to bookish things or just life in general, I can always count on you guys to give my spirits a lift. I want to show you a tiny token of my appreciation and my love for y’all by hosting a birthday giveaway! Just one more thing– Judith and Ellis, I love you both so much. Thank you x 1,000,000 for making my birthday so special. (These ladies spoiled me so much, y’all. I don’t deserve them!). Joining Paper Riot led me to find two of my best friends :)
